Pull Through Sharpener by Messermeister

The Messermeister Pull Through Sharpener has become a popular choice for honing (alignment) among many Americans. One common mistake is pulling the knife blade through a fixed V or cross rods, which essentially scrapes the edge against a solid object. To combat this, Messermeister has released a Pull Through Sharpener with moving wheels that reduce the scraping effect. This 2 stage tool features a fine diamond wheel for sharpening and a ceramic wheel for honing, both of which provide minimal abrasive resistance, making them gentle on the knife edge. It is available in the classic Messermeister blue. Note: This device is not recommended for use on our fine edge elite or Japanese knives and may cause scratches on the side of the blade.
